My Way to Happiness
Julie has a new Blog. Visit now to find out more about
Local author, Julie Gear, invites each of us to embrace all the goodness life has to offer with her new book, My Way to Happiness.
Julie has done the hard yards; experiencing success, tragedy and the simple desire of wanting more out of life. Through her own study and determination, she has taken advice from many different sources and gurus, and developed her own success story.
Julie wrote this book to deliver her message, describing how she has developed positive changes within herself. These changes have been small and large. Julie does not claim to have all the answers but, certainly, she explains the essentials that have made her a better person inside and out.
Julie has decided to self-publish, promoting My Way to Happiness through her website (www.mywaytohappiness.com.au) and public appearances.
Books available for purchase online and also available at various locations listed in Julie's Itinerary.

Here are a couple of Excerpts from the book
Chapter 1 – Acceptance, Page 12
I am who I am and you are who you are. Your body is the most important vehicle for you. Without your beautiful body you would not be able to move through life or express your individuality. We might each prefer something about ourselves to be a little different, but I believe we need to appreciate what we do have.
Acceptance, particularly self-acceptance, is so important to everything you want to succeed at. It seems like such a simple thing, but it’s an essential first step to real happiness. If you want to make big changes in your life, you need to start with yourself and keep it simple.
Chapter 10 – Enjoy, Page 41
I believe everyone should enjoy life. Life has so much to offer, so many pleasant moments, such wonderful experiences, countless opportunities for noticing beauty, sharing tenderness, laughter, relief, comfort and simple good times. Everyday, I want you to think about what you have enjoyed in that day. While you are at work, ask your work mates what’s been good about their day, and when you are at home ask your family the same question. When you are talking to your friends ask them what made their day sparkle.
Chapter 16 – Happiness, Page 78
I do believe everyone deserves happiness. There have been many times when I haven’t been happy. But now that I have found happiness, I’m not in a hurry to give it up.
Are you happy? If the answer is no, I want you to ask yourself why.
The first important relationship we have is with ourselves, and it is the first important step in embracing our right to happiness. Gaining happiness does not necessarily mean leaving a relationship, but certainly opening up to the things that are limiting us, personally and jointly, from experiencing it.
We are very confident that you will absolutely love this book and won't be able to put it aside. Here are some comments from some of our happy readers:

"I think it is delightful and insightful. Congratulations. I truly think that whoever reads this book will derive value from your experiences. It is written simply and meaningful". – Internationally renowned Author - Susan Jeffers “Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway”
I was impressed with the amount of positivity within this book and also the ease with which it can be read. The short chapters, with a different focus in each, makes it very easy for anyone: surely a bonus for all those ‘non-readers’!
The way you have mentioned personal, negative life experiences, and turned these into positive strategies enables readers to see how they can apply them in their own life.
Anyone can use the little questions or statements at the end of each chapter as a cue to do just that for themselves!
I can also relay to you that I have met women at the centre who have also read your book and have found it very inspirational and motivating. – Karen
